After the move to Canada from Norway, I decided to create this blog to showcase my lates work in this new country. I hope you enjoy!

Date: July 31st 2010. The few rainy clouds didn’t stop Amy and Paul from giving their vows this beautiful Saturday in Guelph, On. The diffused light only made the photographs look better! I was shooting with Hamilton based photographer Claire Dam @ wdfotos.com (blog), and we’re working together again on another wedding this Saturday! It’s always a nice way to spend a day when all the people are well dressed and having a great time! The photos almost make themselves..

Make-up: Maxime Poulin / Hair: Ryan Turner / Model: Jaz Brison

Max from the School of Make-Up Art asked me if I could come down a Sunday in May and photograph a creative session for him and his friend Ryan. They had rounded up four models, Jaz Brison (pictured), Gina Guimont, Sarah McLean and Sasha Stelea, from Elmer Olsen Model Management, and they were all fun to work with! I will post some photos of the other girls later on.

Saturday April 17th, I had the privilege to photograph the beautiful Emily, Steve and Ann’s oldest daughter’s First Communion! I had Sara as my assistant that day, and she did a great job babysitting the little sister Alexa! It was a great day and a great new experience (as I had never heard of First Communions before I came to Canada), and the Cardwells were excellent hosts. Thank you for letting me capture your family that day!

As a follow-up to the previous post, here are some other shots I’ve done for The School of MakeUp Art where the students focused more on the “finer” things in life. It gets a little hectic when the deadline for the student’s exams is at 4pm, and there’s still seven girls to go at 3.30pm. But it’s all fun though. None of the photographs have been photoshopped.

The School of MakeUp Art downtown Toronto has been my biggest client so far this first year in Canada. The first day I photographed for them, the theme was cuts’n'bruises and acid burns, so that was pretty interesting. Most of the photographs were pretty graphic, so I won’t put them on here. The photos displayed are from another class who did zombies, and they even had a victim with bloody guts hanging out!
